Artists: Hannah Yost

As an artist, my work is all about stepping out of the binary of classic art. I'm often criticised for doing "too much" within a piece of work, adding texture and layers to my art to produce a maximalist piece that really only appears to those who can appreciate maximalism like myself.

I like to think that maximalism doesn't just shine through my art. I'm a person that thinks more is more - in hair, clothes, makeup and of course my accessories, and that's okay! I want to remind people through the extravagance of the jewellery I make, that being "extra" is okay, in fact it's amazing! 

I like to think of each piece that I make through Stellah Studios to be a wearable piece of art that encapsulates the uniqueness and vibrancy of each individual that rocks the hell out of it with confidence in knowing that they are one-of-one, just like each piece.
